What is wingpay?

wingpay is the new generation of the circular economy, making a positive impact on the world and your wallet.

We’re making payment a positive experience.

Today, we’re here to help you get the best value for your unwanted smartphone. But in just a few weeks we’ll already be leveling up with more categories and features that will allow you to do much more. Your wingpay app is about to become even more awesome.

What is a cashout?

A cashout is the process where you sell wingpay one or more of your possessions and receive money from us.

Once we have received and quality assured your items we’ll make a payment to your nominated account immediately.

What items can I cashout?

We currently have smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, consoles, video games, hairtech, clothing and jewellery on the app and smartphones, smartwatches, tablets and consoles on the web.

We are constantly working to make more categories available - by joining our community we’ll make sure you’re fully up to date with our plans as soon as we announce them.

Where does my item go?

Your item will go to our quality assurance warehouses where they will be assessed to ensure they reflect the same attributes as described on the app.

How can I ship my item?

Once you have successfully added a cashout, you have multiple convenient options for receiving a postage label.

You can choose to receive it via email, phone message, or even opt for a Royal Mail QR code, which eliminates the need for a printer.

Alternatively, we now offer ship yourself giving you the flexibility to use a shipper you prefer.

When you're ready to ship your item, simply visit your local shipper or with our shipping partner USPS and UPS in the USA or Royal Mail in the UK

How much time do I have to ship my item?

Your items must be delivered to our quality assurance warehouse within 7 days.

Is there a limit to the value of a cashout?

No limits, you can cashout as many items as you like. As soon as you’ve completed your first one, just come straight back and we’ll be ready to help you with the next.

In a few weeks, we’ll increase the number of cashouts you can do in one go. Bear with us while our tech team work their magic.

How do I get paid?

Once your item is accepted at our warehouse the amount will be deposited to the account you added when you completed your cashout.

How does item inspection work?

Once we receive your items, our experts go through our quality assurance system.See our 'How we grade' page here.

Here we will check if they reach our standards in terms of quality, cleanliness, authenticity and so on...

If they do, you get paid! If not, we’ll be in touch.

What happens after 7 days if I don’t ship the item?

You can ship after the 7 day period but the quoted offer price is not locked in. If the price has changed we will contact you with an updated quote.

Can I use the app outside the US/UK?

wingpay is currently live in the UK, but we plan to expand our wings to many more countries soon!

What happens to my data?

Data is collected to enable us to provide the best possible options and service for you. It’s kept securely and managed in line with UK GDPR. Our privacy policy outlines your rights with this data including access and deletion.

What do I do if I have a problem?

You can contact our friendly team of experts at support@wingpay.app. They’ll help you with all aspects of your cashout with us.

If you’re worried about whether you turned the oven off or made the right decision by texting your ex last Friday night, well, they’ll sympathise but that’s your lot.
